The Story So Far…

Hello! Welcome to Amare Patisserie, my name is Mark Walker and I am a 29 year old chef. I have a passion for cooking good food and creating luxury pastries. I have worked at some of the best restaurants within the northeast of England including The Orangery at Rockliffe Hall and restaurant Forge at Middleton Lodge Estate in Richmond to name a few. I am constantly striving to be the best chef I can in all aspects. I started the business in order to pursue my ambitions to provide some of the best pastries, afternoon teas, and taster menus within the northeast.

I went to Middlesbrough College back in 2010 and studied professional cookery where I spent three years learning the foundations of cooking and it is where I found my passion for pastry and chocolate work.

My vision for Amare Patisserie is to make the most fun luxury breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea and a small affordable tasting menu experiences that will one day get us in The AA and Michelin Guide
